The 5th International meeting on bone marrow adiposity held in Odense, 21-23 August 2019 will be continuation of previous succesfull years of symposia with interdisciplinary attendence including scientists and physicians from different scientific and medical backgrounds (bone metabolism, cancer, obesity and diabetes, rheumatology, radiology, odontology, orthopedy, hematology, oncology) to share ideas and advance research into international collaborations, and our understanding of the patho/physiological role of adipocytes in the bone marrow. 

The higlighted topics of conference are:

-       Bone marrow vs peripheral adiposity

-       Bone marrow adiposity and energy metabolism

-       Bone marrow adiposity and advanced methodologies

In addition, this year we will have a Presymposium focused on Diabetic bone diseases and allow interactions and possible collaborations among international outstanding scientists and physicians in the field.
